For this blog post, I had quite a few things in mind... however I finally decided to do a few posts of reviews on my Christmas trip to the Maldives last year.

First we went on the flight flying from Hong Kong to Mali (The capital city/island of Maldives)
Arrived after about 6 hrs and next got on this teeny tiny aircraft flying to another island to go on the yacht going to our hotel island...

You don't normally travel so much but since we arrived at almost midnight, the original seaplanes that travel between all islands have already stopped flying for the day, therefore we had to experience such a 'surprising' trip.

The first picture above with that water fountain was the first thing we saw after opening our hotel room door, as we entered the 'room' this breath taking outdoor bath and shower amazed me fully... just imagine having a bottle of champagne with strawberries and spend the whole morning in a gorgeous bubble bath! (Oh I wanna go back... back to the wild! To the jungle... let's get naked!♬)

As you walk into the real room, the giant make up table is on your left and changing room also. On your right, is your beautiful bed and couch with fresh fruits and a bottle of wine. Are you sure there are no heaven on earth?

After having a wee drink, what else would you rather do instead of either going to the back garden pool of yours or going straight out to the sea in front of your room door?

After sunbathing, our tummies started to tell us to head down to the buffet restaurant for a romantic dinner... (again by the seaside of course!)

Look at this beautifully decorated honeymoon/anniversary table! Who else is feeling like getting married now?

The buffet have a very wide range of choices, personally I would never give up a chance of having fresh seafood so there you go!

When people say they are in the Maldives doesn't necessarily mean they are at the same place as you, because the Maldives holiday islands differ from the hotels you book in and the level of hotels you picked, but I would say different islands definitely have their own spotlights and I'll go on to show you a bit more of what you do on the islands in the following days!

Hope you enjoyed reading and bye for now!
