Basically this post I found on Tumblr summarises it up, yes... we do have exams coming up in our lives and they are always going to be stressful. However stress doesn't always have to be a bad thing as long as you are handling it correctly.
Our body has the function of producing adrenaline and they are the chemical that causes the feeling of stress, adrenaline were originally used in our body for fight or flight reactions during the evolutionary times and it was meant to be produced to improve our practical performances. But since we are now living in the 21st  century and fortunately we don't literally need to be trying to escape from the mouth of a lion, we have stress lining-up for something more technical nowadays, however if you don't deal with them right they could turn into over-stress or depression.

My personal ways to cope with stress are trying to rest your mind completely for one or two days before you starting to worry about revision, during this period of study time don't forget to keep yourself fit. I love running/walking so that would normally be the exercises I choose to do, however if you prefer gym, hockey, tennis, netball, rugby etc. it's totally fine to do as well, sometimes I would also do some yoga for relaxation because I find them most helpful with de-stressing. With eating healthily it is not hard for myself, I love greens, so my decision on eat healthy would definitely be making sure you take in vegetables and five pieces of fruits per day, green tea is also another fantastic option to go for if you are getting tired during revision. Make sure you don't stair at your laptop or revision books for too long, keep yourself fresh never study when you are bored. Give yourself a doable revision study plan and stick with it, try to place a fifteen minutes break in between each hour or two to keep yourself motivated but once you start revising, try to put all your detractions away (sorry that does include phones off, any social websites off, maybe music off too if you can't stand not focusing on the lyrics instead of the writings) also it's better if you are on your own because your friends could also be disrupting your efficiency and quality of studies. You don't need to block them away from you neither, just let them know about your break times and socialise then.

Finally, once you are ready for the exam. Don't panic when you enter the exam hall, the worst thing you can do is to think 'great, this is it! My life in the future depends on this' (no, don't tell me how important this exam is. I don't really think you should ever be discriminating exams) just tell yourself 'yes, I've done my best with my revision and I will perform my best possible until I finish this paper'

Trust me, your inner self conversations are very important. They are what strengthens you and if you are telling yourself 'I'm going to fail' then you will! Lastly, enjoy the exam! Exams are not normally set for examiners to trick you but a method of showing your abilities to the world. Have faith in yourself and enjoy the harvest of your year. Good luck!
