For the third day of our trip, we've decided to visit the furtherest town of the Lake District- Keswick...

To get there from Windermere, we had to travel approximately 1hr on bus. However with some favourite music on your iPod and a camera you are all ready to head off. This is the longest but most truly beautiful journey to our destination of the whole trip, we traveled through farms, waterfalls and multiple hills with the accompany of music, honestly could not have enjoyed this more.

After arriving Keswick we went straight to the lake's direction, as we walk along the path/garden... the cafe with the most popular Luxury Lake District ice cream attracted our attention, so for your full report we decided to sacrifice ourselves to have a go with the ice cream in this cold weather! (okay... maybe it was actually just because we couldn't resist the temptation of delicious ice cream, but shhhhh, do not judge us!)
Helly's having Cookie and cream flavour;
whereas I'm having Caramel crumb flavour

During your visit, if you had some spare time to make up to... I would recommend going to the Hope garden. It is a garden which was given to the government by Lady Hope as a gift and since it's on the route to the lake, why not give it a visit?

 Since the weather today was quite beautiful, the lake looked very nice and peaceful, you might see lots of ducks, swans chilling near the lake and pedestrians or dog owners out just having a nice walk.
Everything just seemed so relaxed.
On our way out back to the town centre we saw a wishing well which was set up by some Ambleside club I think... since they offered, why not have a go and see if your wish really do come true?

Before we began our trip today, our host at the B&B strongly recommended this fish&chips shop/restaurant in the centre of Keswick, for those of you who don't know anything about fish&chips... (hopefully not many) it is one of the most famous British dish in the world! The restaurant was so very easy to find since it is right across the square of the tourist information centre.

After trying it, I have to say this is definitely the best fish&chips I have ever had in Britain and you might give it a go since it has such a crispy crust surface and tender fish meat inside, personally I think it is quite difficult for the fish not be soaked in oil if you are trying to make the skin go nice and crispy but however this shop managed to do it without doubt.

After leaving Keswick, we headed towards Grasmere and went directly to the one and only place that makes Grasmere gingerbread in the world, personally I love the taste of it just because I normally like gingerbread to start with, whereas if you didn't like the smell/texture/taste of normal gingerbread already, I don't think you would ever fancy this... so just to be aware of that.

With this picture, I was just simply waiting for the bus to go back to Windermere since the day is over, however find no car on the road and decided to just go crazy and do silly teenage girl things... (please don't try it yourself if you are on a busy street or anywhere dangerous enough to have yourself killed)

Finally this was the pictures taken on our bus trip which I thought might be worth showing to you all! So this is the end of our Lake District short-break trip, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did... well not exactly of course, but enjoyed reading our experience at least ☺

Please tell me if you went to the Lake District after reading my blog/ went to places where I recommended going to, share your personal experience with me or tell me if you liked/disliked the places I suggested because I would like know how you found everything!
