Last week, I went to Lush Edinburgh store just before heading back to school and as you can see... I kind of went a little mad with my shopping.

Lush has always been my personal favourite bathroom brand since I have quite a sensitive skin (ridiculously wild and always drives me crazy because it changes constantly depending on it's own 'mood') so I have to change the products I use very often. However Lush is the one I always go for when I'm experiencing an emergency skin breakdown, as it has mostly natural ingredients and for some reason the Body Shop products doesn't work as well on my skin...

Back to the items I brought, so as I browse around the Lush store I decided to get a few products that I haven't try before:

This product has a very rich texture before use, however I personally like to take about a teaspoon amount of it and place in the centre of my hand, next I rub the product in between my hands until having added a little warmth to it. Now this product is in the form of some kind of non-liquid oil all ready to be applied onto my face, the friendly lush staff did say it should be okay for removing make up straight from the face, somehow my instinct can not be placed under not having to remove my make up with the make up remover first. Therefore I normally choose to apply the product after removing most of my eye make ups. After application I tend to use a damp warm cloth to wipe off the cleanser on my face and then wash the face again with cold water (optional). One thing I love the most about this product is that instead of leaving me a oily/sticky face like some other oily products might do, it gives a soft and smooth skin after use which makes me feel super healthy.  ☺

2. Mask of Magnaminty Peppermint

Since Lush is more well-known for their fresh mask, people might not notice this longer keeping mask which is also very worth having.  Every time when I buy a fresh Lush mask, because I don't like to use a mask each day so I always end up having half a pot of these beautiful smell fresh masks not being used after it's best-use date. That always made me so sad and so when I visited the store again this time, I chose to ask for this acne + breakouts fighter and the result after use really impressed me fully. I love the pepperminty smell it has, also it adds a cold touch to my skin as I leave the mask on the face for 5-10 mins. The texture of this product does feel a little bit like a face scrub but I think that actually is a bonus because when you are washing off the face mask, you would feel all nice and fresh again.  (Personally I don't advise using it if you have terribly dry skin)

3.Grease Lightning Spot Treatment
With this Spot treatment gel, it is quite a unique product I've tried since it to start with, has a beautiful Lavender smell which is very different to all the other spot treating items I've used before (they all smelled a bit funny), also it does give the spots on my face a feel of it working it's way to dry them up as the product's being absorbed into the skin, however the result turnout is not a quick and easy all redness away within a day or two kind of type, but instead you can see it's giving your spots a gentle treatment as well as moisturising the surrounding skin, for me it took about 3-4 days to get rid of the annoying redness of the spots but the pain was definitely gone within 1-2 days. I would actually recommend this product since it is so far my favourite spot treating product and overall it's not too pricy to buy.

Finally this was the last product that I bought, although I wanted to try it from ages ago... but since Lush's handmade soap always last very long and the last one I brought was still in my shower kits basket, I thought I might hold on to this idea of buying it for a while. This soap honestly has the best smell ever if you love sweet essence, because whenever I smell it... it always reminds me of Crème brûlée! What an amazing smell to have? It also leaves your body a very soft touch after use.

This was actually not a product I got but instead from my shopping trip to Lush this time, I received a wee surprise from the sweetest Lush staff, once in a while Lush always like to play cheeky to make you giggle for a little just from the treats you might get from them. This massage bar was originally on my mind as it smells fantastic from the cocoa that's in the bar (yes, it has a chocolate smell to it! Lush did it again!)

Seriously, how could anyone not love a trip to Lush store just even for a snuff? Okay maybe a snuff wouldn't turn out to be just a snuff anymore after all, but still... who cares when we have our favourite smell here with us? I hope this review is helpful and this is definitely not a sponsored post :)
